 Achieving higher protection levels for critical hardware assurance is a growing need in defense and security applications. Anti-tampering systems must be capable to detect and record external tampering / reverse-engineering attempts, used to exploit or develop countermeasures against a system or component.

Tampering detection sensors often require zero power operation, in order to guarantee detection and recording even in battery-free situations.

FGDOS zero-power  ICs are used to implement smart, passive detection and recording of any tampering  attempt which uses  x-ray, gamma rays or any other type of ionizing radiation.
